Year 5 Trip to Cookstown Library – NI Science Festival
Year 5 had a brilliant visit to Cookstown Library, where they took part in a special event hosted as part of the NI Science Festival. The library welcomed Armagh Observatory and Planetarium, and we were lucky enough to spend time with Mark, who shared his incredible knowledge of space with us. 🤩
Mark answered all of the burning questions from both our pupils and library members—everything from planets and stars to rockets and galaxies! It was a truly fantastic learning experience, sparking curiosity and excitement about the wonders of the universe. 🌠
A big thank‑you to Cookstown Library, Armagh Planetarium, and the NI Science Festival for providing such an inspiring session!
