Year 5 Take Part in the RSPB Big Birdwatch!
Year 5 had a fantastic time taking part in the RSPB Big Birdwatch this week. Working in small groups, the pupils created their own recording tables before heading outdoors to explore the school grounds and observe the different birds visiting our campus.
Armed with clipboards, sharp eyes and lots of enthusiasm, the children carefully noted each species they spotted. It was a brilliant opportunity to connect with nature and learn more about the wildlife living all around us.
We are now looking forward to our next ICT lesson, where the class will input their data into Excel and create a bar graph to present their findings. We can’t wait to see the results!
Well done, Year 5!
