Year 5 had a brilliant start to their new WAU topic, Ancient Egypt, by taking part in an exciting carousel activity. Working in teams, the pupils rotated around a series of stations, each filled with different stimuli designed to spark curiosity and get them thinking like young historians.
As they explored each station, the children engaged with a range of photos, artefacts, facts and puzzles linked to Ancient Egypt. The activity generated lots of fantastic questions, lively discussions and plenty of enthusiasm for the learning ahead.
It was a wonderful way to kick‑off the topic, and Year 5 are already eager to discover more about life along the River Nile!
