Year 4’s Wartime Adventure at Killymoon Castle!

Our Year 4 pupils recently enjoyed a truly memorable end-of-year trip to Killymoon Castle, where they stepped back in time to experience life during World War Two.

From exploring the castle grounds to uncovering hidden wartime living quarters, the day was filled with hands-on learning and historical discovery.

The children embraced the roles of wartime evacuees, examined authentic uniforms and helmets, and gained a vivid insight into life in the 1940s.
