As part of our World War 2 theme Year 4 invited former teacher, Mrs Hagan, in to school to talk about her childhood. Mrs Hagan brought her first telephone and her favourite Tilley lamp, along with other items too! Everyone enjoyed listening to her stories – especially the one about the evacuee who turned up on her doorstep!
