We had great fun going on a 3D shape hunt outdoors. We explored and identified a variety of 3D shapes in our environment, then worked together to sort them into a Carroll Diagram.
We sorted the shapes by:
- Curved vs. not curved
- Having fewer than 6 faces vs. more than 6 faces
As a group, we discussed our teamwork, reviewed our choices, and checked whether any shapes had been placed incorrectly.
During our evaluation, we recognised that 3D shapes can be found everywhere and that they have many different features.
