Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Shrove Tuesday by getting hands‑on in the kitchen and making their own pancakes! The classroom was filled with excitement as the pupils followed each step of the recipe with great care and enthusiasm.
Working in small groups, the children weighed out the flour, measured the sugar, cracked the eggs, and mixed in the milk to create their batter. They were very proud of how well they worked together, showing fantastic teamwork and accuracy.
Once their pancakes were cooked, the class had the chance to taste their creations and they were delicious! It was a fun and practical learning experience that brought together Numeracy, cooperation and cooking skills.
