Year 3 had a fantastic time celebrating Shrove Tuesday this week by making their very own pancakes! The children worked carefully and independently to follow the recipe, practising important skills along the way.
They measured out the flour and sugar, cracked the eggs, and gradually added the milk to create a smooth pancake batter. Once cooked, the pupils enjoyed tasting their delicious pancakes — the perfect reward for all their hard work in the kitchen!
It was a wonderful hands‑on learning experience, combining teamwork, maths, and lots of fun. Well done, Year 3!
