Weather Art in Year 4

Year 4 rounded off their Weather topic with a whole-class art lesson – and they absolutely loved it! They learned all about the artist Leonid Afremov, who was born in Belarus and is famous for his vibrant weather scenes, often featuring rain and beautiful reflections. We were inspired by his dabbing technique and the way he blended warm and cool colours together so effectively. To finish, we used charcoal to add the trees and lampposts. The final pieces look fantastic – aren’t they fabulous?
