Year 1 have been thoroughly enjoying their new seaside topic!
They’ve had a wonderful time role-playing in the beachside café and getting creative by crafting seaside creatures at the art table.
One of the highlights was tasting different ice cream flavours to discover the class favourite and showing their findings in a pictograph. What a delicious numeracy lesson!
The children also had a great time designing sails and building boats, then testing them to see if they could float and move.
