On Friday 15th May all the children from our Specialist Provision classes, boarded a bus which then took them to Tannaghmore Gardens. They all had lots of fun playing at the playpark on the slides, swings, obstacle equipment and zipline. The children ate their snack at the park as well. We were very lucky as it started to rain when we were going back to the bus for the second part of our trip, so no-one got wet. Soon we were on our way to Airtastic, where the younger classes got to have fun in the soft play area while the older children had a bouncing time in the trampoline park. After that, we had our lunch. We got French fries, pizza, chicken goujons and juice. Finally, it was time to get back on the bus for our journey back to school. Some of the children had a wee snooze, while others chatted about the fun they had or serenaded the staff with lots of singing! The children all had a fantastic time. A big thank you goes to The Parents and Friends and the children themselves for raising money on our Superhero Day which all contributed to subsidising the cost of transport.
