Year 5 took their learning outside as they enjoyed an active numeracy session using our brand new number tiles!
The teachers called out a range of sums and word problems, and the children raced to solve them as quickly as they could. Once they had worked out the answer, they ran to find the correct number tile and held it up proudly.
There was lots of excitement, teamwork and friendly competition as pupils challenged themselves to be the fastest and most accurate. It was a fantastic way to combine numeracy with physical activity, helping to build confidence and quick thinking skills.
A fun and energetic lesson enjoyed by all. Well done, Year 5!
