Year 4 went on a 3D shape hunt and sorted the shapes they found into a pictogram outside. They learned how to identify and name different 3D shapes and how to use a pictogram to show information clearly.
Then they returned to class and made a tally table using the shapes they had gathered. This helped them practice counting carefully, using tally marks correctly, and comparing which shapes they found the most of.
