Year 1 had a fantastic time celebrating Number Day in school today! Pupils arrived bursting with excitement, dressed as all sorts of creative numbers—complete with fabulous costumes, colourful props, and impressive face painting. It was wonderful to see so much imagination and enthusiasm from our youngest learners.
Throughout the day, the children enjoyed a range of fun and engaging numeracy activities designed to help them explore numbers in playful and meaningful ways. From hands‑on challenges to number‑themed games, the classrooms were full of energy, smiles, and lots of counting!
Today was also Rock Your Socks Day, a special celebration of difference and individuality. Year 1 pupils proudly wore their brightest, boldest, and oddest socks to show that everyone is unique—and that’s something to celebrate!
