Minibeast hunt in Year 3

1st Jun 2026

The P3 class went on an exciting minibeast hunt in the school garden as part of their outdoor learning. Armed with magnifying glasses, the children explored under logs, among flowerbeds, and in grassy areas to discover tiny creatures like worms, beetles, and spiders. They worked together to observe the minibeasts carefully, talking about their appearance and habitats. The outdoor learning experience made the lesson fun and engaging, helping the children build their curiosity and understanding of nature while enjoying fresh air and hands-on discovery.
