A massive well done to our Girls’ Hockey team who participated in the Ulster Hockey Pearson Cup at Playball, Stormont yesterday. They managed to win 2 games in a tight group to secure a Plate Quarter Final against Bocombra PS. The game ended 0-0 which resulted in dreaded run ins. After some outstanding finishes and saves, the Girls’ progressed to the Semi-Finals against Ballyclare PS, who we lost narrowly to again on run-ins. We are so proud of every single girl today, they were absolutely outstanding and brilliant ambassadors for our school.
A huge thank you to all our coaches and all our supporters who attended. We were delighted to travel to the finals with Orritor PS and managed a quick trip to McDonalds together to celebrate both schools’ super efforts today.
