When applying for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance for the 2023/24 academic year, you may need to provide additional supporting documentation.
If you receive one of the following then you must upload a Proof of Benefits letter with your application:
- Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
- Income Based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit
Then you must upload a Proof of Benefits letter with your application.

It will take at least five days to be sent to you.
Once you receive the letter, keep it securely and upload a copy when you submit your Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance application.
