Year 4 spent the afternoon building their teamwork skills as they worked in groups to explore the story Give Me a Hug! by Jillian Harker. The children practised cooperation, compromise, and shared responsibility as they illustrated different parts of the story, added the characters’ speech into speech bubbles, and coloured their pages together. Each group discussed ideas, listened to one another, and made joint decisions about how best to bring the story to life. It was a lovely opportunity to see them supporting one another, combining their strengths, and creating beautifully collaborative work.
