As part of our World War 2 theme, Year 4 invited former teacher Mrs Hagan (who just happens to be the granny of one of our pupils, Pippa) to talk about her childhood. Mrs Hagan brought her gas mask, Identity Card and Ration Book, along with other items too! Everyone enjoyed listening to her stories – especially the one about the evacuee who turned up on her doorstep! Pupils dressed for the occasion and participated in musical activities and played games from the 1940s.
