A few weeks ago our Year 7 quiz team travelled to Ballymena to take part in one of the regional heats. After 10 rounds they were in first place, equal on points with St Patrick’s, Mullinahoe so had a 3 question tiebreaker which unfortunately they lost 2-1. However, it was a wonderful achievement and we are so proud of them.
Thanks to Cookstown Credit Union who provided our transport and hospitality for the day including a trip to McDonald’s!!
The team are travelling to Dublin today, along with St Patrick’s, to take part in the All-Ireland Finals and we wish them all the best.
