Butterflies
P3 had an exciting and hands-on learning experience as they cared for caterpillars and watched them transform into butterflies. Each day, the children observed changes carefully, noticing how the caterpillars grew bigger, formed chrysalises, and eventually emerged as beautiful butterflies. They showed patience, curiosity, and responsibility as they looked after the living creatures and recorded what they saw. When the butterflies were ready, P3 took them outside and gently released them into their natural habitat. It was an exciting moment, as the children saw the butterflies fly away, understanding more about life cycles and the importance of caring for living things.
