ABL Highlights & STEM Challenge Success
This month, our ABL sessions were full of creativity and problem-solving! Pupils enjoyed:
- Making festive 3D snowman pictures
- Taking part in numeracy and coordination games
- Exploring engineering concepts through hands-on challenges
STEM Challenge – Primary 4
Primary 4 pupils took on the exciting task of designing and building a vehicle using K’Nex or LEGO. Working in teams, they discussed and agreed on key design features such as chassis shape and wheel size.
Once their vehicles were built, we held a fair test to see which design would travel the furthest. Teams then modified and improved their creations based on the results. The excitement was wonderful as pupils celebrated their engineering achievements!
Congratulations to The Rainbows!
A huge well done to The Rainbows team—your K’Nex car travelled an impressive 5.9 metres!
Fantastic teamwork from all the boys and girls and lovely to see so many smiles.
